It’s not unusual for couples to have different ideas of what their home should look like. It’s endlessly interesting to me the variety of ways couples decide to navigate the process of designing and decorating their home. In this case, they decided to divide the rooms into his, hers, and theirs; they even had their own Pinterest Boards! He favored a masculine Urban Industrial look and she loved the feminine vibe of Country French. The challenge was how to satisfy their individual desires and create a home that was cohesive.

I discovered common ground in their color preference for grey and their interest in eclectic collections. I used the color palette to connect the rooms and intentionally designed subtle elements of each of their personalities into every room. The end result was a house that they both could call home.
